Poland, Australia, Denmark and Fogo Power times three - these are the teams, which won the respective editions of Speedway Best Pairs series. After six seasons, path of one of the most interesting speedway projects is over.

First rivalry in SBP series took place on June 8th, 2013 at Motoarena in Toruń. Despite an hour delay, caused by a lengthened broadcast from Roland Garros final match on Eurosport, fans gathered at the stands, could not complain. Fantastic racing, lots of passing and ultimate win by the Polish team, led by Tomasz Gollob, made the interest of the series increase and one year later, series changed into three-round cycle. Toruń, Landshut and Eskilstina hosted the SBP series in 2014. Premiere round was a Tomasz Gollob's and Darcy Ward's show. Pole gained 23 out of 24 points, but it were Australians, who jumped on the top of the podium, after defeating Danes in the final. The same order repeated in Landshut, where Chris Holder and Davey Watt didn't give any chances to their rivals. During the final round in Eskilstuna, Australians made a final stamp on their triumph and fans could admire spectacular races by Nicki Pedersen and Grigorii Laguta. Third, and as it turned out - last edition of SBP cycle, taken as the rivalry of national teams, took place in 2015. Toruń, Guestrow and Esbjerg hosted racing in which Danes topped the podium.

Idea of having the cycle, where sponsor teams face each other has its beginnings in 2016, when for the first time, three rounds in this formula were held. First one was also a inauguration of speedway season in Europe. Year after year, SBP series included world's top riders, with such names like Tai Woffinden, Nicki Pedersen, Greg Hancock or Jason Doyle.

Toruń and Landshut hosted this series thrice and it also visited Ostrów Wielkopolski, Gniezno and Rzeszów. Over the years, eleven teams took part in the cycle.
