Trans MF Pro Race Team took 4th place in second Speedway Best Pairs round in Rzeszów. Andzejs Lebedevs had a good result and scored 4 points. It was close for his team to promote to the fnal.
Unfortunately, first part of the tournament wasn’t good for European champion. „Barney”, in his first heat didn’t score any point. In second one, he finished third, but he hadn’t any rival behind him – Chris Holder just had some problems with bike.
- First race in Rzeszów was difcult for me. I had some problems with clutch on the start and I lost some meters in first few seconds. In the feld I tried to chase, but I could not come closer to Grzegorz Zengota. The problem in second race was too huge break. I wasn’t on time with setups, but at least I scored one point – said Andrzejs Lebedevs.
Semifnal was much diferent for Latvian rider. Lebedevs won the start and with a lot of fun went to the finish with huge advantage over Jarosław Hampel and Emil Sayfutdinov.
- In semifnal I changed the bike and I showed, that that worked well. I won the race, but it’s a pity, that we didn’t beat Fogo Power. Also that was nice surprise for me, that I still can be fast, but unfortunately we fnished competition in Rzeszów that way – said Speedway Euro Championship 2017 winner.
That was close for Trans MF Pro Race Team to make another surprise in Speedway Best Pairs. Leon Madsen, who rode 4th in semifnal, had a nice fght against Emil Sayfutdinov, but one mistake took all his chances to make a successful attack.
- That’s a pity… but for sure, we’re not angry. Leon did everything well and he is also our leader and he is one of the most valuable riders this year. For sure, everyone in our team believed that he can overtake Sayfutdinov, but unfortunately he could not score – fnished Lebedevs.
